Chep

Bespoke event stand design for the makers of the world-famous blue pallet.

Chep came to us to design a bespoke stand for the IMHX trade show at the NEC in Birmingham. Once my initial scamps were approved, I used Cinema 4D to create a 3D model. This allowed me to view the stand from all angles ensuring maximum visibility of products and brand messages.

It also allowed me to create accurate measurements for the stand builders and get a sense of how customers and Chep staff would walk around and interact with the space.

When it came to production I liased with the stand builders on how best to produce what I has designed. It meant a little tweaking here and there to get it on budget and easier to build on location.Chep marketing icons were re-created in MDF at large scale and backlit by LED strips to give the impression of a high quality finish. Vinyl letters were printed and applied to the painted MDF walls and wall boxes were built, painted blue and mounted to help lead messages stand apart from the rest of the content.

To promote that Chep would be attending the IMHX event, I designed an email which was sent to both Chep and the IMHX email databases. This led through to a landing page where customers could book a one-to-one with a representative at the Chep event stand.
